Drum with Us.
What is Tin Drum Asiacafé?
Founded in 2003, Tin Drum was created to reflect the bustling street-side cafés found throughout Asia. With the limited service operating model of fast casual and the dining experience of full casual, Tin Drum Asiacafé is setting a new standard for the Fast Casual Dining franchise model. We call it “Fresh Casual.” Our menu carries bold and broad flavor profiles; all food is cooked fresh to order in an open kitchen; the food is delivered to the guest at their table rather than being picked up at a counter; all this taking place in an environment with an elevated décor meant to evoke a bustling Asian street market.
Who is the Tin Drummer?
Legend has it that in ancient times, a Tin Drummer walked the streets, calling the locals into cafés, filled with laughter, music and conversation against the clamor of sizzling woks. There was no rich or poor, young or old — everyone delighted equally in the simple joy of the foods they loved. The Tin Drummer was the pulse of the community and an inspiration for us.
Join the Tin Drummer
Just like the Tin Drummer brings people and communities together, we are looking for people who want to bring Tin Drum Asiacafé to their community. Our preference is to work with franchise partners who wish to own and operate at least three Tin Drum locations in the same market area. We also prefer to work with individuals and groups that have some form of restaurant operations and ownership experience.

Locations & Markets
Today, there are 11 Tin Drum locations open in Atlanta, Athens and Augusta, with additional locations under development in these and other markets. We are primarily focused on opening restaurants in the Southeast United States. We will also consider development agreements in other markets if the franchisee has experience owning and operating multiple locations and is able to commit to opening multiple units.
We prefer to be located in lifestyle centers or mixed-use developments with lots of foot traffic and a good mix of other national and local tenants. We will also consider well-positioned neighborhood shopping centers; urban/downtown locations with strong daytime population and foot traffic; and areas near college and university campuses.
